CARUSELLA is a duo from Tel Aviv, consisting of Tamar Aphek (guitar, vocals) and Guy Shechter (drums, vocals). In their very short existence they already played over 200 live shows, and those are brutally honest and totally energetic. Those guys got the right chemicals going on. Their self-titled debut gives an impression of their innovative approach on rock music, songs between hardcore attitude, rock'n'roll and - so to say - pop. Carusella already toured Europe three times successfully (look at their blog for the tour history), and the fourth tour is knocking right on their door. They recently toured the USA and played shows with Torche, Kylesa and at the SXSW Festival. In their hometown they regularly open for big names like Pixies, Editors and Deerhof. They love to play in the middle of the room surrounded by the crowd (but that's not a must), so this outfit stands for spectacular and packed shows. Just take a look at their live videos.
